See the plight of Australia’s threatened plants and animals through the eyes of our next generation. Thousands of children from across the nation have put pencil, ink and oils to paper to create artwork exploring the extinction crisis for the annual Threatened Species Children’s Art Competition. The plants and creatures that inspired each young artist may be varied, but the shared message is clear – we need to cherish and protect our native species and reconnect to the environment that sustains, inspires and nurtures us.

See Victoria’s finalists on show at the Melbourne Royal Botanic Gardens this spring.

Suitable for all ages and open seven days a week. Drop in anytime during daylight hours.
