As part of this year’s Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival Ideas Program,Sussex Taps will host a panel discussion in front of a live audience on the topic of sustainability in design. Mediated by Editor in Chief of Russh Magazine Jess Blanch, the event will bring together four of Australia’s brightest design talents working across fashion,product design, furniture, and jewellery.

The panellists include Vanessa Katsanevakis from Sussex Taps, Holly Ryan from Holly Ryan Studio, Gemma Cahill from Arnsdorf, and Ross Gardam from Ross Gardam.

The event will see the four panellists discussing the importance of sustainability in design, from the concept phase through to manufacturing, shedding insights into how sustainability informs and shapes their processes, the importance of maintaining quality, and the value of keeping production in Australia.
